The A10 was co-developed by GM and Ford. Ford uses this transmission since 2018 on the Mustang. There were many people that had and still have issues with the A10. I don't think it's as reliable as you think it is.

Curious if you bought this car brand new or if it was used? If it was used, what was the mileage when you bought it?

Do what I did and when you make the appointment tell them that you will take the technician for a drive to demonstrate the issue when you arrive with the car, because it needs to be while the transmission is warm. Of course they can't duplicate it on a cold transmission.

[QUOTE=KarmaKrush;10779565]It starts at 40mph. Gets worse between 58 and 68mph. If I take my foot off the gas it is extremely noticeable.[/QUOTE
Wonder if it could be some other issue I'm a 2 time victim of the A8 Shudder 2017/2018 and both times it was only during low speeds while easing on the throttle (under 40mph) and a clunky downshift 3rd to 2nd I believe but all cleared up during above 40 or so .

2019 SS with 550 miles. No issues. Taking it easy on the car, but seems to pull hard.

Very good point. I dropped it off at 7:30. Of coarse the car wouldn't do it. I took it around the block with the tech and still wouldn't do it.
I'm going to drive it around tomorrow until it does it and then bring it to the tech.

24k miles on a 2019? Was it a rental car?

Yup. From an enterprise in Orlando. If I knew that, I wouldn't have gotten it.
All 4 rims were rashed and I thought it was a bent rim. Put new tires and rims on, still did it.

How'd I guess...

I hate to tell you this, you don't have the infamous "A8 Shudder" in your A10, unfortunately you simply have an A10 that was beat to shit as a rental... I can't even imagine how many brake torques and neutral drops that thing has seen... No idea how long you've had it, but if you can return it, do it immediately... If they didn't disclose it as a rental, you might have a case there as well for them to refund you if you are out of your 3 day return window...

There is no way in hell I would ever touch a former rental muscle car, too many people driving that absolutely do not care one bit if they destroy the car...

Shudder Gone

I didn't read through all the post but wanted to let everyone know it's not necessarily the torque converter.

I purchased my 2017 Camaro SS in August of last year from Carvana. While driving it from Appomattox home in Cruise Control it was terrible. Fast forward to last month, while tuning with HP Tuners I notices some things made it way better.

I finally went into the timing tables and started looking at the over all timing table. The max timing seems to be about 17-19 degrees. When I looked at the table there was 40 degrees up top. I had already tuned in the section the car mostly stayed in so I went up top, lowered the max to 30 degrees and lowered it down through the columns incrementally.

As a result the torque converter shudder is virtually gone.

Hope this helps all with problems.

That doesn't mean its the transmission or torque converter. It could be the drive shaft, axle, or tire. Being all 4 wheels had curb rash the car has likely been beaten to hell and back.
