All the pictures I posted on post #14 show sizes you'd want for the our cars.

M12x1.75x 21 = Oil pan drain bolt
M20x1.5x14 = Differential drain plug
1 4-pack of Super Black Holes for the oil filter
1 4-pack ofSuper Black Holes for the transmission pan

If you wanted super overkill you could get a second M20 for the fill plug of the diff.

-Add to cart on what you want and done.

Those are what I did to make a "kit". If there is demand I'm sure they would make it a 1 part number kit if you give Richard a call. Or maybe someone like Phastek would.

Also I updated the post title to make a little more sense, on topic.

Sorry, I'm not sure as I have the A8, it's a sealed unit and for fluid changes they pump the fluid.

If the manual has a drain bolt (I'm sure it does) you'll have to find out the bolt/thread size. I found a few pictures of the Corvette M7 and the plugs on that trans look a lot like the diff plugs FWIW.

You could order the diff plug and compare it to yours, or if you are under the car for something take off the fill plugs from the diff and trans and see if they are interchangeable or just measure it. Let us know what you find. (Edit: I just noticed you haven't gotten your car yet, lets see if a manual owner can chime in)

as far as the drain plugs go, is the Ceramikote stuff discontinued? on the site it has this "new and improved" nickel plating gimmick on em, and the magnets are supposed to be stronger???

just wondering if theres a different link to get the ceramikote, or is that a thing of the past?

I'm not sure if they still offer the coating I got, haven't really had the need to go back to the site since getting mine. I think nickel would hold up well to wrenches, I don't see anything wrong with that unless you just like the look of the other one. You are never really going to see any of them either way. I'd give them a call, maybe they have left over stock or can still get one made with the other finish.

will do. I went through the whole site and couldn't find the cerakote or ceramikote stuff. was questioning whether it was the correct site till I saw your links.

will ring em up Tuesday. ironically gonna be doing both engine and diff fluid this week. figured might as well.

I ended up going with the Gold Plug brand as they had items listed by the application and I then found them on Amazon. I've installed the oil plug but not the transmission or diff yet as I'm only at 350 miles. I've used the Gold Plug brand before and it seems to be of a good quality.

Alllllrighty, Uce! so I rang em up today. asked about the coatings. The guy was awesomely nice and professional. like someone you wanna go fishin with.

But he said they are always trying to upgrade the coatings to protect from wear, corrosion etc. which is understandable and a testament to constantly improving. heck, my high schools motto was "Advance Always"...

So they said they don't do the cera/ceramikote, or the nickel one seen on the page. they have this new one, which is a blue-ish color. SOLD! yea I have a hyper blue car, so blue plugs in metal. I was like yup. gonna get em. So when I hung up, they were ordered during lunch, and should be here by weeks end.

I rang him back a bit later, about 30 min ago and double checked about the location they ship from cause I just realized the number for em, is a NC number. but they are located in FL and will get it out tomorrow. def excited. holding off on this oil and diff fluid change till I get em. will throw some pics up of the new stuff

appreciate the ground work on it all!

I had the same experience when I called. He's a nice guy, LOL maybe the next person who calls should ask him if he likes fishing. You can have a man date.

Interesting that the coating has had a few evolution's already. Post a pic when you get them. I'm good with mine but I'd be curious to see what the news look like. Also so anyone else considering these can see.

Ya no worries, glad it helped someone.
