BMW Drivers
.....what's with these guys. Time and time again, when there is a male driver (60 or under), they drive as if they're in a road race with no regard to anyone else on the road....and apparently there are no working turn signals on any model.

I've heard that about camaros too.
But were not privileged like they are, we are not good enough to break the laws and get away with it, nor do we drive the fastest cars on the highway...

I've always wondered if this is a chicken or egg situation. Are Aholes attracted to BMWs or do BMWs turn people into Aholes? Most people I know that own one, aren't very personable outside of their car either.

Like the old joke goes:
What's the difference between a cactus and a BMW? BMW's have the pricks on the inside.

...and it continues
Just today, make a left onto a long 3 lane road that has a stop light about 1/3 mile away. I'm the lead vehicle coming up to the light and start coasting as it is red and the few cars behind me are a ways back. I then notice a white BMW 3something that is a distance away, maybe 15 car lengths behind, swings out hard and comes flying up on my right to blow by me then have to hit his brakes hard in order to stop at the light and move into the right turn lane which he has to wait as it is a no turn on red. I look over and just shake my head - BMW driver just stares straight ahead......well, I guess he won that race |

I work at a BMW dealership. I'm there right now, actually.
Fun fact: I currently stock 55 brake light bulbs, and only 2 turn signal bulbs. I don't even sell one a month. Pretty sure the only reason the turn signals burn out is when the 4-way hazard flashers are on from it breaking down on the side of the road.

It goes for all drivers imo. Camaro, mustang, bwm, lexus, honda, evos, sti's, subarus etc... You just notice it more because it's a "BMW".

well I have to watch what I say as the wife has a BMW. we are driving along and a BMW does something and before you know it I say what aholes BMW drivers are.
another time, open road ahead BMW in left lane boots it so I boot it. He slows down so do I. Then again boots it, so do I. I matched the BMW without trying to pass as I did not know if we were racing. He turned left at next corner. |
