Interest low this close to reveal?

I was reading "another pony car" site and it looks like most of there threads were 100+ pages weeks prior to reveal. I feel like there is only a handful of people on here with real interest. I guess the 1000 ticket holders to the reveal don't post over here. Lol

I'm here every day, I just don't post much. I'm 99% sure I'm buying a 6th gen. Only factors up in the air would be a major price increase for the model and options or if Chaz's renders are 100% off and I hate it lol. I'm so interested my wife tells me I'm obsessed.

I don't know.. The car has been talked about for quite a while now. I doubt we'll see any new, amazing info or pics until the reveal. Spy shots have been posted. There's a ton of different renders of the car.

I'm not sure what else there is to discuss until we actually see the finished product.

There is just nothing new to discuss. There's tons of interest, but no honest to goodness topic of speculation for us to have a 100 page discussion about.

On the other hand, this whole website is dedicated to a car that doesn't exist yet...I think that's pretty good.

Really, the only way Chevy can screw this car up is the interior. Hardware is at the top of the segment by a far margain, outside looks good from what I can see but I'm sure there will be a few, small surprises.

Interior is completely unknown.

The interior would have to be heinous to steer me away from this car. I've been so impressed with even the 5th gen that I would have bought out my lease. Except, I shoulda got a V8 LOL

I thought the 5th gen interior was heinous, and the interior is the very reason I don't own a 5th gen right now.

At the moment my plan is to buy one. Obviously the reveal could change my mind if I just hate it.

It's not great for sure but I didn't buy a sports car for it's luxurious interior. The car is just plain FUN to drive. A telescoping steering wheel would be nice. I never did find the "perfect" seating position I just got used to it. I like the MY link. The seats are comfy enough. The cheap hard plastic is kinda ...well...cheap. Oh and I hate the steering wheel.

I didn't buy a 5th gen because it was "childish" looking in my opinion. I'm not trying to offend anyone by any means. I hated the oversized rims, flares, gills, ect. The interior didn't bother me that much. Only one I drove was an automatic 2ss and I was underwhelmed. That being said I do feel like GM addressed the exterior issues, I'm very confident the interior will be up to par. I'm actually hoping they do different levels of quality like the Vette. And with some of the body fat gone it should be pretty fun with an Lt4.

Fair enough. For me it was going to be a daily driver, so I put more weight into the quality and comfort of the interior, which led me in another direction.

Hopefully anything with an LT4 would be a blast and a half!
