Rebuilt Salvage title
I'm getting what I think is a good deal on a 2013 SS/RS rebuilt salvage. I have visually inspected the car, all panels line up, I planning on driving the car tomorrow as well to see if there are any faults there. The car has 6k miles, SS/RS, NPP exhaust, warranty from the non-chevy dealer, engine looks great, they are asking $23k. I plan to have the car inspected by a third party, any suggestions you can give me to look out for, I have never driven a Camaro, what should I notice, etc. thank you

Any idea what happened to the car to cause it to have a salvage title?

I suppose if the repair was done correctly using OEM parts, and as long as it wasn't flood damage or something catastrophic like that, then I don't see why not?

Salvage is salvage, you'll never be able to get rid of it for a good price.

Just realize the money you save now will be a big hit later if/when you sell the car. New dealers don't sell them. But if it checks out and if you plan to mod and keep awhile, I think it could work out. My biggest concern would be any vibrations at higher speeds. My dad bought a Datsun Z years ago that was nearly new with frame damage and it never drove correctly at higher speeds.

I am actually planning on keeping the car and modding it. Not really planning on selling, thought it would be cool to pass this car down to my son. That is if nothing happens to it. I feel it is a great starting point since the powertrain is void, however I still have to find out about the dealer warranty, and how much performance mods I can do with it.

Need help urgently
I need yo know what you guys think about this, the car was rebuilt completely, and looks beautiful. They offered me $23k. It is a 1SS/RS, loaded. I am going to get it inspected and I'm also going to drive it. What do you guys think, go for it or not and why.

$23k for a rebuilt 1SS? Keep looking. Im all about second chances, but that car would have to come down to about $17k for me to even look in its direction.
