I was running 2:28.xx - Lap 7 & 14 was the warm-up lap of each session. 11 & 16, there was a car in front of me.
('16 SS with 6 piston brake upgrade with OEM pads, 19 inch square setup with RE71R 285/35/19, Borla axle back... rest of them stock)

Event was well organized, and it was great fun. Will definitely do it again next year!

Would love to see some of your videos. I was hesitant when i first got there and thought I probably should have moved into the novice 2 group since it was a new track for me. I was glad I stayed in intermediate though. Didn't seem to have trouble keeping up and probably would have been held up in Novice.

For whatever reason my OBDII dongle didn't communicate with my phone so I didn't get any of the data to overlay.

For reference: I was running mid 2:18's in my '17 SS 1LE on the OE Goodyears on Thursday in advanced group. It was HOT!

Wow, 2:18 on OE tires sounds awesome!! You sure can drive.

Yeah it was really a hot day... Sweated a lot... I see now what people complain about RE71R's greasiness when they get hot. I still like them. Pretty good grip for street tires.

Oh and I like the NCM track. It was my 4th time there I think, but I would love to go back there more often to learn the track better. Very fun track!!

RE71R's are amazing tires. I've already gone through one set on my 1LE. I only went back to the OE Goodyears to finish them off. I'll order another set of RE71R's after the Goodyears are done. I've ran 2:16's on RE71R's.

Here is my video of the last session. I had just ridden with Danny Johnson and changed up my line, and I was starting to lose my mental focus but still turned my best lap time of the day. I need more seat time at that track it is a blast to drive and I left alot on the table. I also didn't have an OBD2 dongle so all I have is the questionable GPS data which continually dropped my speed to zero.
