The Blue one is the one I'd take. Naturally aspirated and manual transmission and no active fuel management. Not a forced induction guy, and definitely not an auto transmission kind of guy, so no on the L99 for me.

I don't know. Can't decide.

I just decided. The blue one. The L99 has a sun roof, I need more head room.

The jingoism is fascinating but misplaced. You bought a car powered by a pushrod V8. You were not looking for or buying sophistication in the first place, and if you thought you were, then yes, you should stick to the cherished and infallible European brands, which never break, fail prematurely, or misrepresent their products to the world.

For your information, the Tremec TR-6060 manual transmission (Tremec stands for "Transmisiones y Equipos Mecanicos SA de CV) might be a product of Tremec which has sales and engineering in Michigan USA but it is owned by a Mexican company called the KUO Group, and they are constructed worldwide in Mexico, India, Germany, and Belgium.

I would drive either one. Why not? Driving them doesn't cost anything.
