Dont want awd on a Camaro because I am a performance guy with taste, and not a young ricer or some sheep that follows the flavor of the month.
Awd is for trucks and ricers who paint their wheels in their driveway.

Now, when is GM going to pull their head out of their ass and offer a game changing option for the Camaro SS like AWD that will increase sales, traction, and utility ???
There is NO EXCUSE for the lack of a AWD option. And with that, I will end the AWD talk in this thread.

The Brembos look great. Not a fan of the wheels. But, as posted, wheels are easy to change out. But, I think a thin 5 spoke, or a split spoke 5-STAR wheel would be a wise and popular option that GM should offer.
GM will go AWD but won't be in a Camaro for a very long time. Keep a close look at the" Zora" Corvette. Prob in the $3000k price point to. Your comparing a 100k GTR to a 30k Camaro. We can all dream but GM is a business, not the tooth fairy, I'm sure most wouldn't object to a DTC/AWD option if it could be done in the current price category. ITS A CAMARO, YOUR GETTING A TON FOR YOUR MONEY.

Wheels are awesome!!!! Reduce un sprung weight...I love the sound of that!!! Black wheels are still badass. Whats the point of talking about 458 Italia wheels for a Camaro or any muscle cars? In only ā few exceptions that would look great, like on a car with major cosmetic mods.

GM will have to go AWD soon. If not for the 6th generation, the following gen. If you don't believe me, you're not paying attention.
Worst case scenario, the 7th Gen Camaro WILL have electric FWD in addition to mechanical RWD.
But, I prefer the 6th gen gets mechanical AWD now.

With all due respect, the cars I listed all prove that AWD, and even AWD+DCT, are available at Camaro prices, or below. The 2008-2015 Audi S4 sells for $50k and runs 11's with tuning, and the 2009 GTR sold for $68k brand new.

How can I be a troll if I've owned Camaro since 1993 and Corvettes since 1997? Please tell.
I love the 5star OEM rims on all of my Camaro SS's, C5s, and C6s that I have owned/own.
Will you look at that! Me toooo! Look at us, 2 non trolls.

I don't have time to go read the spec sheet on every one of those makes and models, but...

I highly doubt the buyers of those cars and looking at camaros.

It sounds like you want GM to offer a competitor to those cars.

A competitor to those cars would NOT be a camaro, as it would require: 1.) not having an optional V8 2.) a sedan option 3.) turbo 4 or V6 engine options only 4.) AWD 5.) DCT standard with a manual optional.

There are a ridiculous amount of vehicles out there like this, as evidenced by the list of vehicles you posted. There doesn't need to be ANOTHER 4 cylinder sedan running around. What you rarely see are RWD V8 coupes.

Show us a V8 coupe with AWD and a DCT offered at the camaro's price point and I'll be very inclined to agree with you that GM needs to build a car with AWD and a DCT.

However, a car set up like that would never be a camaro, as the camaro is a historic name and should remain such. V8, RWD coupe forever.

I like the wheels, similar as the ZL1 but lighter.
The tires are Goodyear's Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 not the F1 Supercar G2 from the 1LE/ZL1.
These are less aggressive and are a more compliant summer performance tire. They should satisfied a larger group of drivers.
The size is most likely 285/35ZR19

Again, I'm not sure how many folks are cross shopping a Camaro with the cars you have listed.

I do appreciate your condescending tone with everyone you disagree with.

I like the wheels looks like the ZL1 rims. A stiffer body is good also, a nice improvement.
