I put up two threads because I didnt know how to add pics to an existing thread. I have since moved on from that car and will be driving 130 miles to pick up a 2012 SS for 1k more. Im not trying to convince myself on a bad decision by getting positive replies, was just looking for some opinions and got them. Thank you guys

Yeah. I wouldnt buy anything that has rebuilt or salvage in its title, or with a smashed carfax, unless we are talking about a classic that needs to be brought back to life. So Is it a rare care? NO, there everywhere. so the rebuilt will kill you down the road, not to mention the issues that will pop up. its junk, stay away

Good luck. What's that? No. No way. Absolutely NOT! No threads about "advice on pricing" or "is this a good deal." I've attached the 2012 NEW Camaro price lists (you'll need to enlarge the % size). Then, do some used-car-pricing comparisons and research through other websites and make your move, Jack! Don't forget to update us on your Camaro when you buy one and don't even think about posting about your new ride without uploading pics. Good luck. Pardon? Yes. I really mean it.

Tell the dealer you give him $15-17k tops.

No. Paid $25k for my 1SS/RS with 5,000 miles on it. No way I'd pay close to that for a rebuilt one. Pass.

23k is too much bro, stay a way from it damage looks really considerable. I had a good deal on totaled Camaro yesterday with very minor damage( stratches) but roof airbags deployed for 9k plus taxes and repairs will end up being 13k. Could be a lot cheaper but I decided to have the airbags fixed by dealer for safety. Its a 2012 with 19000 miles.

There is nothing wrong with a salvage car as long as it was fixed right. My car is a salvage car, and I have no problems with it and know it was fixed right because I myself fixed it. Granted pretty much all my car needed was a fender and a bumper cover, and I know the body shop painted everything right, I know it was fixed right. These cars do not have frames. They are unibody with a subframe the cradles the engine. Look for damage to the subframe its the black frame underneath the engine. That is a pretty good price for that car, I would have it inspected before buying though. And if it is salvage, the GM warranty is most likely void.
