2017 ZL1 with 2500 miles

Hi I am looking at a 2017 Summit White ZL1 A10 car with sunroof and no PDR with 2500 miles. They want $58,800 for it. Doesn't that seem high? I remember seeing new 2017 cars in December of last year for $58K. What do you think is the right price for this car? $55K?

Depends on your area, but that does seem high. I bought my 2017 M6 ZL1 w/ PDR and no sunroof with 1000 miles for $54,000 last month and that was in pristine condition. Depending on condition I'd really expect 52-55k, but check cars.com or autotrader for your area.

If they won't negotiate I'd look elsewhere.

agreed - it very much depends on your area. I had to travel about 800 miles to get mine for a "good" price. In my area they wanted 55k on average for 17 models with 8-12k miles. I picked my 18 up with 1373 miles for 53k.

$58k is high for a used one regardless of the miles. They sure don't have that much in it if it was traded. $55k would be a good starting point. If not, I'd look for a new one.

I think 55k is a fair price.

Agreed. Anything lower than 55k you are starting to get a good deal going. 55k is fair both sides. I think you could easily walk away paying 53k.

The only problem is it's at a dealership. Do you think they will take $5K off the price? I guess in the end if they don't play ball I just walk and wait for the next one.

I just bought a 2018 A10 with 1300 miles on it with the Certified Warranty included (an additional 12/12 added to factory warranty) for $58k. I think for a 2017 and 2500 miles...$56k MAX! (Dealers always want to know “whats it gonna take”. Tell them $55k and you drive it home today!) $53k is not likely in my opinion.
Final thought...if its the car you want...find a way to make it happen or someone else will and you will regret walking away for a couple of grand.

It's my experience that most dealerships worth your time will have their 'internet' price on used vehicles about as low as they're willing to go. That said, every dealership is different so it might be worth your time to at least call/email. If you can point them to other comparable ZL1s that are thousands of dollars cheaper it might help you negotiate.

If they won't budge, at that price I would move on.

Just wait and the price will start dropping. Once a car sits for more than 30 days it will go down.

Did you ever find one? I’m in Cumming ga also. Driving a white 18. Shoot me a message and I can help you out. I paid only a few bucks more for an 18 loaded. Let’s touch base and the other guy in Forsyth.

New to pre-owned comparison? That is not Apple to Apple. That is as arbitrary as my customers coming off of Volt leases & complain about the lease structure with todays residual and money factors. The ZL1 had the most rebates & discounts in Nov/Dec just like any Chevrolet car.

The dealer still had to pay for the vehicle & the customers expectations were Kelley Blue Book trade-in?

Plus I’m assuming that is certified?
