I think the new design for the SS just helped the residual value of my car. Um, thanks?

Mr. Mack best go back to the drawing board then, because If sales are low now just you wait and see how low the 2019 and 2020 go. Sad!

Unhappy

The more I review the photos, the sicker I get. Just cannot express the total disappointment in the 2019 refresh . Thank the lord we got the 10 speed, but they could have included it in the 4 banger and the V6 car. Hell even ford gave the eco boost 4 banger Mustang the great 10 speed auto. No performance increase and no killer knock your socks off visual refresh. Instead the car gets ugly... and yes I have Chevrolet running thru my blood. Thank you Camaro, thank you GM , good night Al O for all your help.

Hey John Mack, your head (of design) has to be way the hell up your butt, because that is the only possible reason you could have signed off on this design and said WOW.. this is outstanding. The car needed killer looks to match the killer performance , I am sending Crockadile dondy over to see if you have a pair.

SS looks like part of the front is missing or they forgot to paint the center. Glad we bought my son a new '17. This is the way I felt as a Senior in HS in '72 when the '73 Chevelle SS came out to replace the beautiful '70 thru '72. BTW, the '73 was the end of the Chevelle SS. Maybe some teenager who liked the last Transformer Camaro likes it, but how much $ do they have to purchase. Epic fail!

I know these refreshes are supposed to grow on you but I don't think I will ever like the look of that SS with its flow tie placement. It is like looking at a someone's face and the nose is just not in the right place. It's actually annoying.

I am not sure how any Camaro enthusiast at GM would allow something like this to happen. They must really want to halt the sales of the SS and force people to the turbos.

The '72 to '73 A body transition in no way compares to this hideous 6th gen update. The Colonade coupes were beautiful cars especially the very European looking 4 door sedans and wagons.

Sure, the Chevelle SS wasn't the best looking of the bunch in '73, but you had the Grand Am, Laguna S-3 and the Cutlass S which had it dialed in. The Laguna looked pretty darn good with that bumperless front end.

Laguna S-3 didn't come out until '74, no more Chevelle SS. Agree on the front and rear of the '73 Laguna. It should have been used for the SS. '73 SS had a railroad tie for a front bumper and somewhat for the rear. Olds and Pontiac did a much better job of incorporating the bumpers into the '73 GTO, Gran Am and Cutlass. You're correct, as years went on, Colonades sold well. '73 Chevelle, except for Laguna, ugly. BTW, did you know a '73 Chevelle SS station wagon was available? I never saw one in real life. When my friends and I first saw the '73 Chevelle SS brochure, someone said, "Well, It might look good if you got the right color." The '19 SS Camaro would only look kinda good if black, and that still wouldn't correct the flowtie issue.
