You know what makes the car you bought....…?

Of course it's love cuz love is what makes a Subaru a Subaru!

The absolute stupidest slogan ever, I don't even know what it means?!

We bought an '84 Buick Century wagon when our third was on the way. That car was a lot of fun for us. We would go camping several times a year, mostly at Road America

I recall driving home one Sunday evening wondering why the car was all over the road. I knew I hadn't been drinking. Then I realized it was the cross winds

We took a lot of camping trips, some for weeks, many 4-day weekends.

Flooded tents and soaked clothes one day. The nights we were burning marshmallows and laying on our backs picking out the constellations.

Memories that all make the practical and econo car times well worth it!

Just imagine what you will be in the market for when the time is right to come back..

Best of luck with the new ride and raising the family... keep in touch!
By the time he's ready to come back ,there won't be any "fun" cars left to drive. Will be all electric and autonomous.

The Subaru is a great car. Life is full of curves, just ride it out!

If you are looking for another 'family' car, let me though out a option...

.....You'll be back. The exhaust note and the thrill from driving a hot v8 are the worst things to miss.

He has to do what he has to do. I get the OP selling it due to needing the money and having more room for the family. It just always seems that the first thing to go is the guy's sports car, from what I have witnessed from family and friends. Why is that? Could it be because most women have no interest in muscle cars and think it's a complete waste of money, thereby seizing upon an opportunity to say "must sell that thing due to kiddies, space and money." Just saying. From what I've seen, even without kids, if the wife isn't interested in it, they see it as a complete waste of money. Many a man has heard the condescending comments such as "Oh, he's just a grown child," or "well, at least his toys keep him at home." I had one friend's wife state out loud at a party where I was proudly showing off my new Camaro "Oh, I hope my Louis doesn't go through that mid life crisis." I wanted to say out loud, "F**k you!"

I was looking at the same choice... my wife is encouraging me to keep the camaro. I just feel bad after it sat all winter and the value is going down.
how do you like the outback? it was one of the top for my list to get the wife.

I believe that sitting it in the winter doesn't hurt the value. In fact, less miles on it and no snow or salt. But the real value is how you feel about driving it when you do get it out. Are you bored with it or do you feel great going down the road? Value is so much more than monetary.

I just did the same thing on Friday...said bye to my Camaro traded it in for a 2018 Outback....I also picked up an 88 Land Cruiser last month and it makes the pain of losing the Camaro a tad bit less.
