hey Ray, you ever get the meth spacer done? if so, i'm contemplating one for my LS1 2300 vette, which only gives me room for 1/2" tops (probably still requiring some lowering mounts for the engine). i'd port out the lower tub while it's apart, so those tiny triangle ports wouldn't be a problem.
also, i'd still need injector spacers, right?

only available with or without nitrous spray bars at this time, and yes injector spacers are required. the g8 gto guys use 3/16 spacers on the k frames to give them additional clearances up top.

one of these days when i ain't working 12+hrs a day, i'll give you a call again, but how much do you really gain from that small of a spacer? i remember seeing what the 1" did on your truck & the results of the 1/2" not being anywhere near as drastic.

and for the meth, i remember you saying you were working on one a couple years ago when we talked... did that go away, or is it still being figured out? i'm shooting for mid-600s on a stock LS1 with my next round of mods, so i'd rather have that safety net & have something much more efficient than spraying in the intake tube & being compressed through the rotors (which is also advised against by DuPont [creators of the lobe coating]... more for meth mixes that're less-likely to vaporize before compressing than 100% alcohol, but still...). or can the NO2 kit be easily adapted? i just ain't too keen on the juice for my car, which is built for road course & street rather than straight line.

I live in AZ, so I ordered one back when I installed my Maggie. Been running it several years now with no issues. Keeps the Maggie cool in the AZ heat.

Does the Heartbeat qualify for the blower plate mod here?

i've seen similar products for the heartbeat-styled systems, but instead of separating the top & bottom halves of the blower manifold, it's a pair of plates (one on each side) that sit between the head & the manifold.
concept is the same.

Thanks for that info man!

I doubt that I would ever have ever stumbled on that info, most surely after the fact....after everything would be installed , lol. Yes, I’m not SC yet, but cross-shopping...

I guess these dual spacer plates will require permanent removal of the factory strut brace AND perhaps even require a hood with taller cowl design??

Totally new at this re spacers.
