Let's play what's your MPG...

As stated in the title, your current MPG, feel free to explain your circumstances if you'd like. IE: if you track MPG based on trip A vs trip B, if your car is a daily driver or a weekend warrior, auto vs manual, trim level if you want etc.

1SS 1LE
Manual
Daily Driver
Trip A (current tank, 38 miles) 17.8 MPG
Trip B (used for oil changes, at 1700 miles) 16.2 MPG

That is a good idea using Trip B for oil changes.

Ok...

2016 2SS A8
56 mile round trip commute
Usually right around 19-20 for "last 50 miles"
This goes up to around 22 just driving around where I live on weekends.
On a road trip I got a last 50 of 32.2, IIRC.

17 mpg over 20k miles.

That includes 4 20 minute sessions on Infineon (SearsPoint) and 11 trips down the strip at Sacramento Raceway in the 11's.

Daily driver. Never babied.

Same, just noticed it when I was checking how many miles on the current oil change and figured I was doing decent. with 17MPG on trip A. Normally around the 14 - 15 range.

I've done this with all my cars as a reminder I guess. I typically go around 5,000 miles between but I've read a lot of people saying 7500 or more with current oil standards because it isn't degrading.

I used to care about it but everytime I crank my SS with NPP on a cold start and hear it just shake the whole friggen house while its in the garage... it just screams F-Gas Mileage... Lets get down to business.

I didnt buy it for fuel mileage and dont really care about it.

I get maybe 20 on my commutes and about 28 - 29 on the freeway with the cruise control set and A/C blowing on a road trip.

I don't think any of us really cares about our MPG, but it is one on those little data points that is kind of interesting. I'm stuck in awful stop and go commuter traffic a lot, so cycling through the info fields on the dash display while stopped is something I do from time to time.

I've found that my car's indicated MPG is optimistic, usually by 1-2 MPG. Right now it is indicating 24 MPG, but I'll bet that when I fill it up and do the calculation it will be at 22 MPG...
