Cleaning the Alcantara Steering Wheel in my ZLE
So here's a video I recorded about two weeks after buying the car. I notice that the alcantara/ suede in the steering wheel and shifter wasn't looking how it should. So I used a simple but effective method to clean it and the results were amazing.

Mine wasn’t that dirty but i did sweat in the seat during a track day. It really freshened it up
I also wore gloves to keep the steering wheel dry Ryan B.

Thanks Ryan for the info! Mine is in need of a cleaning very soon and I was wondering what to use to clean the micro suede!

i just used soapy water ( not much soap ) and a towel. Few rounds and towel would wipe off clean. "Rinse" with just damp towel. Mine was pretty gunky, year or more worth of driving. Felt great and then i remembered why i hated it clean.. slippery AF. Need death grip or your hand just "slide" down. Oh well.
