SLIKZL1 build
Figured I’d finally make a little build list on here as I’m always scrolling through the forum checking out all the cool builds!
Originally I was going to order one but lucky for me , my local dealer had literally the exact car I wanted on order. I got to them before the car arrived and asked for the vehicle to be left alone besides what they had to do to pdi it. The car specs : 2019 Camaro ZL1 (LT4) -Black -10 speed (10L90E) -Navigation -PDR -Exposed carbon hood insert I absolutely love this car and I plan on keeping this one a while! On to the fun stuff! Mods : -Engine Rotofab intake (dry) Kooks 2.0 inch headers and cat deletes(jet hot coated) Heatshield products wire insulators Grip tech upper pulley(2.175) w/hub Ported blower (Kong Performance) Nick Williams 103mm Throttle Body Mighty Mouse wild catch can CPR expansion tank Vengeance Racing 180* thermostat Tcm unlock (hptuners) Hptuners MPVI2 w/8credits Custom tune by John Weeks Alky control meth kit (dual nozzle) -Wheels Forgestar D5 drag pack -Suspension Eibachs Bmr power trailing arms Bmr rear cradle chassis brace -Brakes Front + Rear powerstop Z26 pads -Interior Gm carbon fiber dash panel Oem zl1 floor mats Aero force vent gauge pod Aem x-series wideband gauge -Exterior My dad and I corrected and ceramic coated complete vehicle with Blackfire ceramic kit Diode dynamics F+R smoked led reflectors Diode dynamics led trunk+license plate bulbs As stated above, I absolutely love the car and I’m enjoying every bit of it! Stock, the car went 7.31 @ 101mph in the 1/8th. And went 8.12 seconds 60-130. After the bolt ons, The car put down 655 whp and 703tq on a pretty hot day BEFORE the meth. Had some traction issues but went 7.0 @105 in the 1/8th and 7.22 seconds 60-130. So basically the car almost dropped a full second 60-130! *all times posted were on stock tires* Can’t wait to get back out to the track to see what this thing can put down time wise! My goal would be 6.6-6.7 and it would be sweet to get into the 6 second range 60-130. Lemme know what you guys think! |

That looks incredible! What do you think of the Blackfire and why did you choose that one in particular?

Thanks! And to be completely honest, this was my first time applying a ceramic coating so I don’t have anything to compare it to. But I will say that for the price you can’t beat it. The coating has been on now for about 6 months and it’s still holding strong. I paid $140 for the kit. A lot better than $1500
