Owning SSes for 50 Years

I had this very same argument with a GT 500 drag strip car owner. He began telling me his car mod for mod was faster than comparable Camaros but finally admitted he had over $10,000 in mods compared to simple bolt on Camaros. He brought his slicks car (not drag radials) to the strip on a trailer and truly believed that Chevy guys were going to believe his claim for minor modifications. This argument will go on for as long as they let you personally pilot a private automobile. Take your car to the drag strip and run against some of these cars, then you can wear the bragging rights or go home with your tail between your legs.

I'm sure from his post that his plan it to take it to the track, as he did mention that he needed to get 500 miles on the car to unlock the PCM. What are you a bit butt hurt by his initial observations in having his car for only a couple days.
Also he is talking about a factory built Challenger with no additional money spent on upgrading it that comes with Drag radials from the factory so where were you going with your post of money spent on upgrading. Last edited by rocket403; 03-18-2019 at 08:57 AM. |
