Roof height with Sunroof
Did anyone get a chance to sit in a Camaro equipped with sunroof?
How much does it lower the roof height? I am 5'10''....will it be comfortable for me to sit in it? Any input is appreciated!!

It might not be the much lower as the sunroof cars don't have the reverse mohawk roof panel...I bet you only loose an inch or two as the middle section of the roof is slightly higher on sunroof cars.

The tallest person I am aware of that has sat in the driver seat and felt comfortable is 6'4 so I think you will be just fine! I am 6'3 and 260 so we shall see how I feel lol. May have to go with "weight reduction bro" for myself and not the car haha.

My 2014 has a sunroof and I fit just fine in it. When I sat in a 2016 with the sunroof my head was brushing against the ceiling even with the seat down and reclined. I had plenty of room in the non-sunroof 2016.

I'm 6-1" and drove the Gen 5 with sunroof and had no problem, of course the Gen 6 may be another story. I'll see for myself in a month and half!

I read that the Gen6 was supposed to have gained an inch of headroom. Not specified if it was sunroof or not.
I'm 6'4" and have to lean my seat back a bit to fit in my 2010 (w/sunroof) comfortably. That's one of the things I was looking towards the newer model for. It it's worse, it's another reason to not go there. |

roof is lower but seat bottoms are lower as well.
