Good morning Becky!
Just came in from the barn. Yesterday I was looking for the VIN on the engine and trans with no luck. After looking in the white book online I was looking in the wrong spots. Apparently the trans is not VIN stamped but the motor is under the alternator. Pulled it a few minutes ago. Numbers are good! Flint built V8 to boot. Turning out to be an excellent buy! I drove and got on it yesterday and it performs extremely well. I had concerns it was a 5.7 and not a 5.0, but it's all good! I have to mow my hay field today, otherwise known as a lawn. To dewy yet.
