hardwire to OBD
I have to dongles going to the OBD, the passthru one for the AEM afr and one for the Aeroforce.
When I data log I unplug the Aeroforce and when writing a tune I unplug both. I would like to cut the dongles off and solder both to the wires on the backside to clean up the frontside area and negate the need to unplug them. Anyone have a break down for these cables? Should be only 4 wires I am guessing 12v-grnd-canHi-canLow.

Can't help with your question, but I always write while the AEM connector is still plugged. No issue since 5 years

My biggest complaint it with how far the Aeroforce sticks out when both are plugged in. Pretty easy anyhow the AEM only has 2 wires, CanHi and CanLo. The Aeroforce has 4, both can wires and 12v/ground. I just back traced them thru the connector. cut the dongle off and soldered them behind the OBD. Much cleaner now.
