Transponder Purchased INFO (QUICK)
Ok guys,
Well there is a place down here in TEXAS (COMPETITION MOTORSPORT) that I just orderded a MY LAPS Speedhive transponder from. They have TWO versions, ONE you have to RECHARGE and ONE you can hardwire into your car's battery. When you order you have to also NOTE how long you want your subscription for and in my case I just specified ONE YEAR (I chose MyLaps TR2 Transponder - Rechargeable). I also specified OVERNIGHT shipping which somehow is 72.00 because I need it for this weekend. Total with TAX and shipping was 276.08. The MYLAPS people are actually out of the Netherlands and are big in F1. Here is website for transponder purchase: https://competitionmotorsport.com/ra...o/transponders

I use the MyLaps TR2 Transponder - Rechargeable, for all my TT events. Tip there is no on/off switch on these. They are on when out of the recharge cradle and off when in the cradle. I use a rubber band to keep mine in the cradle when not in use. A charge can last all weekend or more but I usually will recharge it ever night anyway. The $109/yr subscription sucks.
If you are a NASA member you can get ~12% off from CMS. Timing results are on speedhive.mylaps.com or the Speedhive app

Since the MYLAPS people are associated with F1 that makes sense though since everything else related to F1 is HIGHER than a giraffs ASS.
