Here are the 2 seats, the one with the white and black has 5700Mi and the black non ss has 2200 mi, to me the seats need help and a redo, GM this will not work you have no way to stop the material from pulling out at that area i can see it in 1-2 years as the material starts to shrink.

Mine aren't doing that, not yet anyways. I will be keeping a close eye on it from now on though. That is totally unacceptable in a new car. I certainly hope GM is on top of it and making it right for those affected.

I can hear dealerships now: Sorry, it is a wear and tear item. You wore jeans in your car? Sorry, the extra friction makes them wear even quicker. We are going to deny your claim.

Dealerships like warranty work from what I hear. I heard they make good money from it. It is GM that resists it.

Don't own a per of jeans in the last 15 years.

omg, thatīs bad quality !
phuu, no thatīs a NoGo.
Camaro 2016 seems to have many weak points only by bad or cheap build.
In germany many if not all Mustang owners complain about flattering hood at autobahn speeds (200km/h and more). On Hellcats the whipers do the same at these speeds; if you switch them on they learn to fly

Red car is at the dealers now, new seat cover going on, and some more work at the same time, as soon as it is ready the next car goes in for the seat and more.

Looks familiar... In my case they had to special order a replacement seat release lever.

I don't own a Gen 6 yet, but every one I've seen with cloth seats has had the same problem.

I'll be ordering mine with Recaros when they come available.
