Launch control on 2016 2SS?

Am I correct in the belief that launch control was not available on my 2016 Camaro 2SS?

You should have it but there is no display for it or settings

Try it, see what happens:
1. Dead stop, wheel straight, in Sport or Track mode
2. Double-tap the Traction Control button
3. Brakes hard to the floor (like panic stop hard)
4. Gas hard to the floor.
5. Let go of brakes.

If wheels start to spin in step 4 either you aren't holding brake pedal hard enough or you don't have it

BTW - I have tested at the drag strip and I can get better times without using launch control on my 18 SS
