328 HP!

So I was motivated by another forum member and thought I would follow suite.
My 18 RS is about out of warranty so I decided to see if I could get a bit more power.
I started by adding a K&N Cold air, a Jack Fab ported intake manifold and a Soler 84MM ported throttle body.
I also took the leap and found a 3.27 diff from a local yard.
I suggest you get a friend to help with the rear diff, it's a bolt on project but getting the diff in and out cost me many bruises and a loss of a big piece of arm skin!
I took my car into HP Motorsports in Katy Texas and had them tune it.
I was hoping for 300 HP and what I got blew me away.
They did a Dyno Tune and I ended up with 328 HP and 282 Pound feet of torque.
I was thrilled but skeptical so I decided to take it to the local drag strip.
I ran a 13.1 at 106.
If you are thinking about doing some upgrades do it!

Sorry for the dyno being upside down.
This is the first time I've ever posted pictures on a forum.
I also forgot to mention I'm car 812.

Very nice. Are you tuned on 93? What gear did they do on the dyno?

Nice, I’m the same minus 3.27 gears and with Overkill tune. I’ve been meaning to go down to the raceway park. If you’re ever in the area again lmk and maybe we can do some pulls at the raceway lol

I'd like to go back to the Raceway in the early spring, I was having a real issue with traction. I set the 0-60 on the first run and hit a 4.9.
Don't know what gear they ran it on the dyno.
It's really fun there was an older GS 455 stage one and my 13.1 beat all of his times! I'll let you know when I go back.
Note they make you wear a helmet if you have a sunroof.

Those are great numbers considering you're not on E85 and have stock exhaust. For reference my best run bone stock was 13.6 at 104 with a 2.1 60ft. Our tracks here make you wear a helmet for anything under 14.0

What exhaust system are you running?

If I remember correctly, Will at Overkill has it somewhere on the site that exhausts don't do much if at all for hp. The only thing I could think of is the aftermarket downpipes with supercharger but don't think any other combo nets any hp

That's my understanding as well, so I didn't change the exhaust, it sounds really good with the cold air, most people wouldn't know it's a V6.
All of the aftermarket exhaust I've heard are way to loud and raspy.

While I agree that minor exhaust mods won't do anything for power, I do have to say the right exhaust definitely helps in terms of sound, tone, and even rasp. My Flowmaster axle back not only made the car much deeper sounding, but it really didn't make the car sound more raspy either. And while it's definitely louder than stock, it's really not that much more to be honest. Overall a big improvement over stock

In terms of sound, I definitely think with the right setup the exhaust can sound great.

I went the cheap way and found someone giving away their ZL1 factory exhaust for free. I had it cut and essentially made it a axle-back. Did it mainly for the quad tips look but it did make the exhaust deeper and added a little more growl due to the larger pipe size. Maybe a secondary cat delete or x pipe could suit if you want to stay out of rasp

Really strong numbers! I'm guessing you have an A8 trans. I have basically the same setup with a manual trans. I tried the solar 84mmTB but it left me stranded twice. kept having an electrical short and would shut the car down. So I returned it and went with Overkills 80mm, ported intake from Jacfab, GMPP CAI ,& Overkill 93 tune. Also went up to 285's on the rears which help a lot. Haven't been on a dyno yet or the track since the upgrades so I'm not sure what she'll run but with the M6 I'm hoping mid 13's. I have the E85 tune on the autocal but haven't tried it yet. Still a bit gun shy on that one. Based on your numbers I'm thinking you're close to 400 crank hp. That's pretty sweet! to see these LGX's with the right tire setup running in the 12's N/A!! heck yeah
