rented 2.0 camaro convertible, gt converible, ecoboost both convertible premium. for anyonw who's actualyl driven them for significant amount of time, the camaro by clearly the best for a vert. the base interior is much better than the stang premium imo, which is tacky.

mustang were flexy noodles, and the gt has 235 tires on a 400hp+ car. gt also got 11 mpg with some spirited driving.. horrible and at tranny felt pretty bad.

Even so, AWD would be nice for more energetic launches on street tires. I have to feather the throttle mindfully despite having hardly any power. Would be nice to be able to just slam it and go

The Mustang: What a hell of a car that is. I tell people if you are looking for a fun, sporty car that is great for daily driving (hence the Grand Touring name) the prancing pony is the car for you.

The Camaro: The most track capable “muscle car” of the group. I think we can all agree that the Camaro isn’t the most daily drivable car for everyday use (small trunk space, below average visibility, tight interior). If you like to race, the Camaro is the car for you.

Something I also want to put out is that this was a dream car for me since I can remember. I don’t think I’ve ever had a car that’s made me so happy when I see it. To be completely honest, I’m still in disbelief I even have the Camaro in my garage right now.

It is simply my opinion. Everyone is different and no two people will share the same ideas. It is reality. To each their own.

I was raised on GM and have been happy with their products since driving age (16 years). During my 30's, I have purchased two GM fun cars: An '11 Camaro SS and a C7 Grand Sport. As daily drivers over the past 8 years, I've owned a '13 Cruze RS and a '17 Cruze RS. Over the same time, my wife has owned a '16 BMW X1 M and a '19 Terrain Denali. I don't need an AWD "fun car". My fun cars stay in the garage for ~6 months out of the year and come out on sunny days during spring and summer months. Again, to each their own. I love my GM performance cars and I live in PA; therefore, only having enough money to buy one vehicle, I could not rationally buy a Camaro or Corvette. We received 12" of snow 1 month ago and received another 13" this past week. The Camaro and Corvette wouldn't even make it out of my garage because they sit so low. It is what it is.

FYI: The AWD Charger GT (only available with a 300hp V6) runs the 1/4 mile in 14.8 sec., which isn't mind-blowing, but if you are happy, I am happy for you. Enjoy!

Had a 2016 GT vert. Wreck it and got a 2018 1ss with a pro charger.

Loved my mustang. Just when replacing i was trying to find used vert 6 speed and couldn’t find. Also not a fan of the 18+ redesign. The 15-17 looked so much better.

I think the Camaro is definitely the better looking car though. It looks pit bullish. The 15-17 GT’s are still good looking. 18+..... nah....

Interior goes to the Gt except the seats. Having own both it’s i’m loving the 6th gen .

Maybe put a few more miles on the car before giving us an opinion

That's a lot of miles! Do you travel for work in it?

While you don't need an AWD car and only drive any vehicle in a limited capacity, that doesn't mean a large chunk of the market doesn't have a use for a technology, hence how Subaru has been built around an AWD platform. Here in the frozen north, brand loyalty would mean my only options are 4WD truck or AWD SUV, neither option I want so I would be buying a 2WD, likely a FWD sedan. Since I opened my box up, I know have an AWD Malibu class car.

While the V6 AWD isn't a power house, it sure is still fun to drive. I have plenty of zest for a daily grocery getter, certainly out classes a Cruz or Malibu. If you haven't driven one, I suggest you do.

Good talk. Oh and pft to Mustangs lol they ugly

I've always been a GM guy. I enjoy the Mustang's appearance; yet, I would never desire a car that required me to "beat on" to feel any power. In terms of acceleration, they're essentially neck and neck, so that's a non-factor.
