2021 SS 1LE with A10 or 2018 ZL1 A10 ?
2021 SS 1LE with A10 or..... 2018 ZL1 A10 ?
I’m kind of torn between 2 awesome cars and can’t decide. One day I want SS, the next day I’m thinking a used low mile ZL1. Which would you choose and why ? |

You can track a ZL1 just fine. Go for power.

ZL1 is a no-brainer, 1LE doesn't handle too different from a base SS.

If warranty is important, go newer or if you are getting the ZL1 from a dealer & can get a B2B warranty, go that route.
If you honestly feel 455HP is enough, then buy the SS. If you want more now, go ZL1 |

It depends on your roads and how you drive. If you are doing lots of backroads and are staying 55mph or lower the lighter NA SS1LE will feel about the same speed and is a lighter more balanced car.
If you are driving on roads where you can take advantage of the forced induction then I say go for the ZL1. Also in terms of budget the used ZL1 will still be more expensive, not sure what your budget is. |

OP, what are you looking to achieve with one of these cars in driving? Also question is what are you coming from, says 85 Z28? You are also looking at brand new versus 3 years old used.

The 1LE is the ZL1, minus the supercharger. Same chassis/handling improvements. Slightly smaller brakes because, well, it's lighter. Same size wheels/tires, same magnetic ride, etc. Shifting out of 2nd to third at WOT in the 1LE and you are already going more than 75mph.
