Yes turbo 4 and V6 1LEs both exist. I'll let someone else comment on the model years since I'm not sure about that.

Yes, up until MY 2021. 1LE package was discontinued for 4 and 6 cylinder cars beginning with MY 2022. 4 and 6 cylinder 1LEs were built from MY 2019 to MY 2021.

Did they ever pair up a v61LE against a 2.01LE. Would be interested how that played out.
Wonder if they fixed the turbo issues.

It was around 1.5s slower than the V6 around VIR as I recall, could be mis-remembering that. Between the two, id choose the 2.0t.

I have a V6 1LE and I got the chance to go head-to-head against a Turbo 4 1LE at a Track Night in America event. To my surprise, I was easily able to pass the Turbo 4 on the straightaway. I didn't think there would be so much difference in acceleration, given the 4's lighter weight and broad torque curve. But my 6 was significantly quicker.
I think there would be less advantage, or no advantage for the V6, at an autocross.
As expected, the turbo 4 doesn't make interesting noise. OTOH, the V6, with variable exhaust in Sport or Track mode, really rips and sounds great at high rpms. I've received compliments. So, the sounds the V6 makes are another good reason to get it.
These cars are a great value for track and autocross, and are fun to drive on the street. They never caught on like the Miata and the Toyota/Subaru twins, but they're a great alternative.

Just suspension bits, no engine mods. Head to head, autocross is where the 2.0 will really shine. Ive got thousands and thousands of miles in 2.0’s (plural, many, many cars) and never burned up a turbo. Kind of how you bought an LT1 engine despite their flaws from time to time. I wouldnt let a few burned turbos deter me. Didnt let a few blown LS7’s deter me from buying one. Didnt let a good deal of burned up 6.2’s deter me on my current 1LE.
2.0t is an excellent car. The real issue is finding one, and when you do you have to be quick. They sell fast.

I was trying to find a 3LT turbo 1LE for over a year and a half. A lot of the 3LTs I looked at were listed for months. Lower level trim does sell quick.

The the 3LT I bought was listed for a month before I found it.

LOL! No, I knew that Chevy had a 1LE package availabke for Camaros with both motors and that those packages were discontinued about the time I purchased my SS 1LE. I found the article I referenced in a quick Google search.

If you're referring to the article I posted, they tuned that car for more performance and added anti-lag which the stock turbo was not designed for which caused their repeated turbo failures.

'Their [tuning] goals were twofold: Increase boost while adding anti-lag. Sympathy for the mechanicals wasn’t a high priority. “This is a race car part,” Shaun told us of the tune. “It’s mean to the turbo.”'

Yeah, i’m not too sure where the burned turbo stuff is coming from. Ive soent a great deal of time in LTG cars with no issues. Ive seen a few problems from the OLD LNF, but even that was rare.
