Anniversary Car Cover
As part of the deal for my car I got the dealer to throw in an "outdoor" 50th anniversary car cover. Today they advised me that they ordered me an "indoor" cover as the outdoor wasn't available. I'm not buying it as its noted on the Chevy site as an option and I even gave them the LPO code. Has anyone else heard of this (outdoor cover not available)? It seems odd that it wouldn't be.

Well, the 50th Anniversary Floor Mats are on National Back order and unavailable unless a dealer had them in stock already. Been waiting for mine over a month now with no information on when they will be available again...
So yes it's possible the outdoor cover is not currently available.

You can find the outdoor cover on ebay here. However you might want to call them first to check stock as they are the ones I'm waiting for the 50th carpets from.

Looks like this is officially available for purchase GM part #'s: 232482241 (indoor) 23248242 (outdoor) @ $318.75 through several sources. Time to order one!

thanks for the info everyone! The dealer is now telling me that they're being told that an "outdoor" 50th is not being made, only "indoor" ones. I don't buy it! I e-mailed Chevy direct yesterday, awaiting their reply.
