Many of the new GM cars have a similar outline to them which appears to arch downward as they go to the center of the car. Impala, Malibu, and the new Camaro all share this trend. I'm not sure I'm a fan of that, as I feel the Camaro deserves its own unique appearance, but whatever. Hopefully its at least more sporty/futuristic looking than the sedans.

The thing is, if the Camaro team made it look completely different, someone would bring in another "look-a-like" car because they have 1 line that's the same.

Anything short of this:

and there would sure to be a comparison to another car.

While looking at post #53 it appears that the driver is either 4'8" tall or the driver is sitting on the floor. I had hoped Chevy would fix the non visibilty problem but unless this guy is really really short that isn't the case. Ya gotta be comfortable driving the car. The Challenger is comfortable and visibilty is good. Not that I'd ever buy a Dodge but for $40K a driver should be comfy.

Man that looks like a Smart for two! Does anyone else see it?

Seriously, every single car that gets revealed these days (not just GM) brings with it comments about how it looks like (insert car here).

Lol. Could not possibly be more true!!! Hell, I find myself guilty of it at times. Its just like music. Only so many variations of any given concept. SOMETHING, SOMEWHERE, is going to be similar, if not identical. Thats why the "whole package" will STILL seem a surprise when the car is revealed the 16th, even after countless speculative renderings. Devil is in the details.

Add back the inset trim piece visible at the top on the tail on the right and you'do have something there. Well visualized.
