18 A10 44k miles. No issues. Changed front pads. Fed it an Odyssey early so I did not have to worry about it. 17.4 mpg average so far. 11 trips down the drag strip and one NASA HPDE track day at Sears Point. 4 20 minute sessions.

Not really. The only real concern with the car is the oil pump. Do people really think this car is a problem car? I hope not.

Even if you replace that with a Katech, the car is rock solid.

A lady on Facebook has a 2017 with nearly 215,000 miles. She has only done the regular, scheduled maintenance.

You only really start to get issues when you start to mod but that is with any vehicle. From a Smart fortwo to a Bugatti Veyron.

I had an 06 GTO with 0 problems but others had every issue under the sun. My car was cam'd with a full exhaust too. Only issue it had was being rear ended by a distracted driver.

I actually havnt, I purchased it from an acquaintance, so I had a good amount of history so didn't pull the usual info.

I need to run the vin through my local dealer. Based off the front end (loads of rock chips) it was someone's highway queen.

But i have been keeping an eye on the oil pressure

I’m not hiding anything about mine either and am fortunate it’s still running well with no issues.

Double that and add 15k and you'll be on par with the highest mileage Z

2nd owner. Purchased June 26, 2021 with 4100 miles. I noticed the car rolled to 25k when I parked at work today.

The only thing I've changed is the diff oil and new battery, neither had issues just from reading on here it sounded like a good idea since I daily mine. Of course changing oil ever 5k as well.

The only real annoyance I've come across is 2x since I've owned it, my key would not let it start. Seems to be somewhat common. I'd have to put it in the cup holder to get it started and HVAC wouldn't work during this period. I'd park it back at work and when the BCM would go to sleep and wake up again, all would be good again.

I never had difficulty starting except for when the battery died. I purchased the OEM battery from the dealer and used my GM rewards points. The battery cost $149 after discount. I installed the battery myself just to keep it safe. I'm glad you're enjoying the car.

I bought my 2018 ZL1 M6 in April of 2018 with 18 miles on her. I currently have 26,750miles on her and the only time she has been to the dealership was for the oil pump that shit the bed at 16000 miles.

Oh, and I too still have the original battery. I do put the factory trickle charger on it once a month for a day or two...

Knock on wood...

LOL! Will the battery tender for a C7 Corvette work on a ZL1? I have one from when I owned a Z06 C7 and was wondering if it will work on my 2018 ZLE?

It'll work. You could use it on your lawn mower battery. It's not specific to a specific car.

‘18 zl1 bought new in March of ‘19. 5,524 miles. Just put storage insurance on it today to put away for winter since I won’t be driving it now that football season is here.
