In mine, the malaise era 1974-77 were the worst.

4th gen by far were the worst. Especially that retarded plastic fender piece that lead to the mirror that didn’t even line up or match.

My opinion of course.

I don't understand how it's worse than the aluminum bumpers & 155 HP 350 V8.

You make an excellent point, but mechanicals are easier to change then appearance.

I think that I'm with DGthe3 on this: That 2nd is my least favorite. Granted, it may be bias due to the one that I drove back in the day was such a dog... wow. It would do 0- 60, I think, but I can't remember if I ever actually got it there. And, yes, my 3rd gen Berlinetta had six thundering cylinders working together to make 104 mighty hp.... I was once passed by a Winnebago towing another Winnebago, and I was TRYING to win, so at least that model was no tire- smoking beast, either. But... still... the 2nd is in last place. As mentioned, it hit pretty squarely during the age of malaise, the time when power and performance were sacrificed in order to get worse mileage, goofier styling, and poor quality... yep, I said that right.

Worst for me depends on what you were talking about. The 3rd gen looked 1000x better than the 4th but didnt perform as well. The Gen4s were just butt ugly. Thank God the Trans Am was still around then. They actually looked good in both the Gen3 and gen4
Versions.

I’ve had a strong affinity for the IROC’s and GTA’s from back in my younger years but I can point out a stand out model in every generation of Camaro that would be welcomed in my garage.
