2020 Camaro LT1

I have the 2020 Camaro LT1 with NPP Dual mode exhaust. What is the cheapest way to make it a little louder? I love the sound of the chargers and mustangs, i feel they are a little more aggressive than the stock camaro exhaust

Pull fuse 51 and set the exhaust in Track mode in the DIC settings! Check to make sure that 51 controls the NPP exhaust like in the 2016-2019s.

I assume there is a way to "un do" it afterwards if needed? the car is a lease, just want to make sure i'm not doing anything that'll affect that

All you have to do is put the fuse back in.

I believe he’s talking about the LT1 model not the SS. The LT1 model does not have the track mode. Not sure if there is much difference between sport and track mode on a SS in regards to exhaust sound only. So pulling his fuse on a LT1 will permanently open the valves for Sport mode.

So no “Track Mode” that was a deal breaker for me.

Yes I knew that he was talking about the LT1 and not the SS! That’s why I suggested he check it out first before doing the fuse pull!

It won't throw any error codes or anything by doing it?

I have no idea! Sorry! Maybe some 2020 owners can chime in!

Flip down the back seat for increased interior rumble.

No...all pulling the fuse does is remove power to the NPP valve controllers. They are set to Open by default and close after startup depending on the performance mode. So pulling the fuse keeps the valves open under all conditions.

No need to set to track mode if the fuse is pulled.

I pulled the fuse in my ZL1 and set the exhaust to Track mode and it really didn’t seem to make much of a difference in sound so I put it back in and set the exhaust to Auto mode!

I pulled the fuse on mine, and also found it to be about the same as track mode. ....that being said, if the OP doesn't have a track mode....I imagine the fuse pull would yield at least some difference. Either way, I still found it to be pretty darn quiet. Installed an AWE touring system just this past weekend!

I did the fuse pull in my 18 SS almost immediately after buying the car because exhaust was too quiet... Still wasn't quite as loud as I wanted, I want to HEAR that V8 rumble so like 'Abubaca' I installed a MBRP axle-back exhaust over the weekend (which is basically straight pipes) and can't wait to actually get the car out on road to hear it now!!! Only another month or two, gotta love OH!!!
