When I was first considering taking my car I was thinking damn that will put me over 30,000 miles. But not driving your car to keep miles low is like not banging your GF so she tight for the next guy. Thanks for the responses guys!!!

I remember seeing this saying on Camaro5 a couple years ago... And it's so true!

Let me get back to you on actual mileage. Making a charity run from staunton, va to Carson city, Nv and back. Should be about 6500 miles when done with the scavenger hunt.

Approx. 5500 miles from Indy out Route 66 to L.A., through Nevada and Utah, then I70 back to Indy. This was in 2010 and very few had seen the 5th gen. Felt like a celebrity for 15 minutes. Best road trip ever!

Making the trek from north county San Diego to Vegas this weekend for 4 days. This will be the 4th trip I've taken in the Camaro out there. Once you get out in the desert you can really open it up. I usually hit 120-140 in certain spots out there where the straights are miles long and not many cars around. It's normally a 4.5 to 5.5 hour drive. I've done it in under 4 with a few quick pit stops along the way.

I have driven my Green Flash from PA all the way to Key West as well as all the way up North to New Hampshire.

Just last week, we drove it down to the Outer Banks in NC.

I am happy to say I have had zero issues and this fantastic LS-3 gives a good consistent 22-24 MPG @ 70 MPH using the CC and burning 93 octane.

I absolutely love driving this car and told my wife that I would love to take 2 weeks and drive it out to California one day.

She ain't no trailer queen, that's for sure!!!

Yeah that’s what I’m saying. Just get some AAA and go. I’m curious to see how much my mpg drops with the new splitter and Z28 spoiler with wicker extensions effects my MPG.

Now that is a haul man. I hope when I’m done I say the same thing.

HA HA I've see this too....and I got the girl. under 12K mi. on a modded up '11 2SSRS. it's literally been on the road 5-6 weeks since I bought it. Got 20K on it now. 1100 miles in one day last week. Bought this car for touring when it's just not bike weather. Does the job just fine. Enjoy your trip.

I just did a 16 day road trip from OH to CO, Utah, Idaho, Montana, back through SD to Sturgis for Camaro fest, then back to OH... 6155 total miles and my Camaro handled it perfect, would have liked a truck in Montana but other than that the car was comfy, plenty of power when I needed it and for the most part it was an enjoyable trip... 26.9 MPG was fuel average for whole trip, not bad at all for a V6, average speed was 50.4 (damn I love them 80 MPH speed limits out west)...
