Street tire acceleration limit

Anyone know what the record is for a camaro6 SS NA on street tires is?
I'm FBO E85 am trying to decide if I want to change the heads or heads and cam.
She is my DD and I'm not going to run slicks or drag radial on her which is why I care what the time is on high quality street tires.(R888R, sport cup 2s etc)

Do you get rain in your part of California, because if so, neither of those tires you listed will work. Also they aren't exactly comfortable tires.

Look up the NT555R's. They are comfortable "drag radials" that hook extremely well, and it seems as long as the tread isn't gone, decent in the rain. Realistically they are just sticky street tires, they aren't bias ply or slicks at all.

I see rain maybe twice a year.
It isn't a concern at all

I don't think I'd put the drag radials on the front anyway. Nitto G2's will work better for the front if you want to stay with nitto.

I’m in the same boat as you. But there’s not a snowballs chance in hell that I would put drag radials on a 1LE. I think the best thing to do, is to address some rear suspension goodies via BMR and then talk to your tuner about torque management in the low rpm range.

The tires you mentioned are pretty sticky. I think the cup 2s would last the longest. For your car heads and a good street cam that would work with stock or small converter. I have no idea what you would run but I’m sure it’ll haul!

Control arms and trailing arms are in the trunk awaiting installation.
