More streetable setup for 1SS 1lE

I am looking for setup recommendations for a Daily Driver 1SS 1LE with maybe 2-3 autox events during the year for funsies. Short 2-3 hour road trips are a thing with me.
I bought my car used at 4400 miles. The previous owner changed the wheels out to the MMR ZR1s reps. The F1s will be toast in a few thousand miles I think. And it rains alot during the summer here so these have to go. I have seen a few people running a square 285 setup scouring the forums.

What kind of setups are people running for daily drivers? I maybe drive the car 25 miles a day. I would love something that lasts much longer than the f1s. And 305 width tires might be excessive for my use even with a few autox events a year.

Just put PS4S on there and be happy. Don't downsize the tires unless class rules require it, and they won't for autocross.

I have looked at a few options between Michelins and Continental.. I am making this decision based on what is more widely available and better for daily driving. I don't really need 305s to do that since the car will be far below limit 80% of the time outside of road trips or mountain runs.

That's only 2-3 novice events per year. No competing. everything else road trips and canyon. I am just looking for something more cost effective/longer lasting for my type of driving. I don't think 305s fit that.

I have been daily driving on the PS4S's and done two weekends at Roebling Road Raceway and have 16,000 miles on them with an easy 5,000-8000 left in them. I'm not a 1LE though, but I went up to 285 rears and 255 fronts.

Are you planning on getting different wheels as well? Otherwise anything smaller on the stock 20x11 wheel is gonna be stretched onto the wheel.

The MP4S are an amazing DD tire. I have almost 10k miles on mine, 7k of those miles while being supercharged making 650rwhp.

I'm considering a square setup right now from APEX. They have a group buy going on, can run 285/35/19 all around.

You are comparing a 16 SS versus a 17 SS 1LE. While you can run a 19 square on the SS 1LE, why unless you are just absolutely past the limits of the stock setup of wheels and tires.

No, the previous owner of my ss 1le put some mmr zr1 rep wheels. They are the same size as stock 1ss 1le.

Id stay in the same category of tire like Ultra Summer, but set my sights lower on the price point and consider the Indy 500, I think the PS4 while that's a superb tire...I don't know what you're looking to spend or what you consider more "streetable" because I might think an UltraHP all season could fit the bill. There are some extremely good A/S on the market now like the A/S3+, Comp2 A/S, and so on.
