Installed a new OEM GM 1LE front splitter from Matt at Wildhammer Motorsports in gloss black. Easy install, looks great.

Looks great. Do you need to be careful going up driveways now?

Maybe a steep driveway. Haven't had any difficulties yet. That said I have seen some driveways that would cause problems, will have to steer clear of them.

The installation uses the same fastener holes and clips that the front bumper skin uses. There is however 4 holes to drill upfront and center, evenly spaced to install blind rivets. There's 4 molded in pockets in the splitter for these fasteners. I have not installed them as of yet. When the weather is nicer I'm going to remove the splitter, clean everything and apply a faying surface seal between the splitter and bumper skin with clear aquarium silicone sealant. This will provide a strong bond and seal out dirt, water and other unwanted substances.

As for wobbling at high speeds I don't know. I can say up to 85 mph no problem, that's the fastest I've driven the car so far.

Good idea. I'll remove them when I take the splitter off again to apply the sealant.

Thank you sir.

This week I'm installing OEM GM ZL1 side rockers in NFG body color and gloss black blades. Just picked them up last week from the paint and body shop. I think it'll be the last exterior mod.

Yes, the splitter comes with the needed rivets and the required longer screws that bolt it onto the bumper skin. Here's a photo of the drill bit needed, a 5/32, and the pop rivets. You will need a pop rivet gun to install them.

A lot of us have this front spoiler. Mine has been on since April of 2016 and is all beat up. I have another sitting in the garage for the day that I can comfortably say that I no longer hit the spoiler on things.
