Any ideas where a non-permanent switch could be mounted if some of us wanted that option?
I wonder how hard it would be to run a round switch in place of the power socket near the shifter. I always have my phone hooked up via the usb so the socket is never used. a round switch there would be a pretty clean and hidden install, but I imagine it would require long wires for routing.

Yeah, I HATE the placement of that socket, esp with a manual. I've never used it. Why would you have it top mounted in the middle of the center column, to highlight the beautiful, bulky power-cord blocks you plug into it, or just to ensure you can hit it with your hand every time you shift or have to move the gear selector?!?! Seems like a last minute afterthought by the design department at GM IMO.

Does anyone know the part number for that plastic piece we would be drilling into? The best solution might be to have a back if it's cheap.
We can make it with a remote control, but it will cost more.

Yes they are.

Guys did both seats in my 19 2.0T 1LE, test drove the car to see if it all works and yes it works as good as my ZLE car, we order in all the parts needed to make 50 sets, and will start on them end of next week.

Does anyone know the correct torque for reinstalling the seat bolts after the seat cooling harness is installed and whether or not loctite should be used?

Got mine today. I don't think I'll be able to install this weekend. I still am considering an alternate/non-permanent switch position if anyone has any ideas!
