Rear suspension toe play

Got an alignment done last week and the tech had me come out and fell the drivers rear whee,l, which had a very slight side to side play. Dealership looked over things even put another cancel up on the list and it apparently had the same about of "toe" slop. Very minor (feels similar to when a tierod joint starts to wear out, there's no noise, vibration, or other symptoms - only when it's off the ground can you feel any play and only toe, no play vertically on the wheel)

I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue or if that amount of travel is within normal spec.

Thanks

Unfortunately not, I'd almost would have mistaken it for bearing play/slop, very minor I'd say less than ~ .1°

My alignment guy bitched about the rear toe and how hard it was to dial in. Wonder if that's why.. I haven't noticed it myself but I did get the BMR toe links to make it a little easier, haven't installed them yet.

6th gens are some of the easiest cars to align, maybe it was a issue with the alignment tech vs. the car.

no its not normal there should be no play at all. im not trying to be grammar police but you might want to edit your post and correct some words.

I just noticed the same issue except in my passenger rear. I suspected the toe link immediately given that it only has play in the toe dimension: wiggling the wheel between 9 and 3 o'clock. I can only do this with the wheel on because it takes a fairly substantial amount of effort. The other wheel doesn't have this issue.

I then unbolted the suspect toe link at the knuckle to look at the bushing by itself but I couldn't feel any play in the bushing itself. The dust boot is totally intact.

OP, did you have a resolution to this?

From what I've been told by a few others who know more about that stuff than I do, the rear toe of our cars like to come out of alignment some. More so if you strap it down to a trailer (idk why, maybe strapping it to the arm is messing it up??) Anywho, alot of them also recommend the SPL toe links with the lock outs.
