For looks or?? Would be alot of work.. the easiest thing would be have a vinyl shop put a black wrap on the entire roof and the sunroof, or just the vinyl color of your current roof.

Why would you do this? The whole roof would have to be changed as well as the liner inside and many other stuff.

Not worth it.

I agree with Camaro_QC. It's simply not worth the time or money.

I want to remove the sunroof to save weight. My car is fully gutted, so I’m not worried about the headliner. I had a sunroof delete in an old bmw I had. Just curious if anyone has a delete kit for our cars.

Ugh tell me about it. The helmet issue sucks. I thought a sunroof would be cool, now I'm like damn, this thing is useless lol.

It can't be that hard to create a fiberglass mold. Car has no windshield wipers so it never sees the rain..

The issue would be if you could fabricate something to fill in where the sunroof was, you still probably wouldn’t have enough headroom due to it being a different roof than the reverse Mohawk regular roof is. It seems like the sunroof option brings the roof lower and with the regular roof is higher. Hope this makes sense because it’s hard to explain. I get it that the car is gutted and is a racecar now and understand what you are wanting to do but really don’t know if it’s worth the time and money. I say if it’s a racecar then cut the roof off and weld a regular roof in.

Thx for the comment. I would consider cutting the roof off if I knew a fabricator who could do that near me (NJ). Any ideas? The clearance isn’t toooo bad with a helmet.

I would leave as is since you won’t have a headliner in the car anymore. Maybe find out if a piece to cover over the hole in the roof left by the sunroof can be fabricated from carbon fiber or some other composite material and fixed to the roof.
