Anyone find out how the microphone hooks up to the PDR?

Almost positive it’s built into the Camera no addition changes was required to make it work after hooking up the camera

This should be obvious but I'm hoping maybe I don't understand how warranties work

Adding the PDR, Camera, GPS and especially re-flashing components ... DEFINITELY voids the warranty right?

... If so, how much of the warrenty, just the electronics or everything? (including the body, powertrain, etc.) ...

Since we are doing the reprogramming there are no warranty implications from that end. The wiring is where things would get hairy honestly but once Gen 5 has a plug and play harness this should be far more civilized.

- Do you perform BCM programming as well? Could you calibrate '16 MRC controllers?

I added HD Radio to my car it requires replacing the A11 module as the one in our cars do not have the HD Radio hardware, when changing the A11 module it will also change your SiriusXM ESN (radio id), so you will need to update it by calling SiriusXM's customer service, but you will lose any promotion time left from the factory radio id.

For reference I ordered module 84278527 105/5/6U2M it will need to be programmed to your car and or custom programmed to include the PDR if you plan to go that route.

So after reading all this I feel a bit disappointed and confused lol. I just sold my '13 ZL1 and I'm about to buy a '18 ZL1 1LE that looks absolutely beautiful but apparently it didn't have the PDR. I thought that it will be standard in a ZL1 1LE since it is a track focus car but apparently that's not the case.

Negotiate the price down enough to cover the parts and programming, add the PDR to the car, it's a little work but not that bad, in fact it's much easier to do it now that everything has been documented in terms of connections.

I use my PDR on every drive with my vert, no issues at all works as expected.

Sounds good. let's see what happens. I notice that even with everything documented there's still is a lot of confusion. And we are talking about 3k-4k for everything right?

I made a harness. I have it all installed and had to stop and order a new screen. I thought my ZL1 had two USB ports but doesn't. I was lucky and found ONE on ebay. waiting on it to get here. My harness was made to go to the black connector of the HMI and the gray connector of the ACM a11.

I got lucky on the cost for everything. I found a ZL1 PDR for $250. Bought all the other parts from Tasca for $240 and the connectors from Mouser. The camera was on eBay for $140.

I have USB cables for my work I used. I also used a corvette camera because it has a female USB rather than a male. I have a CTS-V//ZL1 camera incase but they are identical minus the connector.

I am excited to see if I can make this work because If I can the harness is a slam dunk and I can have them made pretty easy. I also know people that could possibly make a OBD programmer to add the PDR programming needed.

Ill let everyone know once its finished.

One question I do have is what thread size is the nut to hold down the PDR.?

I forgot, I want to thank Night Owl and MBNWA. Very good work and you really deserve a lot of thanks for the effort for this. People always right these things off as not possible and that's is just not the case. I have done a lot of these types things for other brands and appreciate the work it takes. This is something I really wanted and didn't get because I wanted an 18 and didn't have a lot of choice. So thanks for figuring it out and thanks for not sealing the documents and preventing others from benefiting from your work.
