Rev Issue

A few weekends ago I put on headers/ ported TB and IM as well as a rotofab CAI. I am running catless to cutouts. I haven't been able to drive much but today I noticed that if I rev a little bit sometimes its sticks around 2k rpm or climbs a little higher.

I didnt notice it before I got my base tune from PRAY but I also didn't drive it much before I got the tune.

Here is a video of the issue. Not sure where to start looking first. Could it be a leak somewhere? I dont here anything that indicates it. In the video you will see a quick rev that acts fine and then one that holds and even climbs a little. The second rev was less aggressive than the first and my foot was off the throttle immediately.

Any ideas are welcome.

wow I was going to say mine did the same by reading your description, but after watching the video mine isn't nearly that severe. Mine just sticks around 2k and slowly drops back to idle and lacks any response in that area. Yours literally stays and wont come down. How do you get it to come back down? Just by revving it again?

TB tuning needed sounds like. If you replace the TB, doesnt the tune need to be adjusted? I know you said you had the tune done, but are you sure its correct for that new TB? I'd put the old one back on honestly. A TB is one of those last mods you do when it becomes your last choke point. Otherwise it does nothing but screw up your drivability.

We all know Pray is super busy but have you reached out to him on this? I'm sure he will get you lined out.

It’s most likely that you have a vacuum leak. My ported TB was plug and play with zero tuning required.
