It sure does. But the best warm and fuzzy buffer is when old oil does not come out looking like black sludge And at 50% it already visibly shows its been working hard enough for my money. Your money may disagree and thats ok with my money Happy 2019!

Hope this helps, or at least gives ya one personal perspective. Happy New Year!
Thanks for the reply. Any idea the number of miles that have passed at the 50% mark?

You're welcome! I am gonna guess about 3 or 4k incl track days. PS i did my first change at 500 miles. Then at the end of GM recommended break in interval (which is mostly for the benefit of e-lsd on 1le model). Cheers!

My oil doesn’t look like black sludge at the end of the interval but I baby my car on the street which is 99% of the time and it’s mostly highway miles. Once I stop DDing it, i will likely not go the distance either. Happy 2019!

It is nice to see it starting to show up but it's still gawd awfully expensive. Shipped it's about $138.00 for one oil change.

Just bought 5 of the 6 qt cases from Speedway Motors on eBay. They were $49.99 each and free shipping for orders over $99. So, 3 oil changes worth for $250 shipped.

for those that's using this oil, does the oil life meter tend to last longer or degrade sooner with this oil?

One's driving style is going to determine degradation of the oil, not the oil itself. Cheap oil may last a long time if your babying it.

good point, I'm thinking it will last longer for me. I don't track but I do a lot of spirited driving along with lots of stop and go traffic. I guess I will have to buy it and see for myself.
