Back at the track since blown engine.

It's been awhile since I last made a post but the car has been done for a couple months now I just been busy to find time to post this up. If you recall I had tossed a rod through my block, pretty much everything was a total loss even down to the air filter. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=524424
Anyway nice to get some seat time even though to much traffic to really lay down some good times. Not the most exciting vid but heck why not post up...

Thanks!

Yeah running 1le alignment specs did not fair well. Driver front tire rolling over real hard.

Car is at shop now getting 3.5 in front and 2.0 in the rear.

Suspension is all stock Maggie Ride with camber plates.

Car does have solid ZL1 1le subrame mounts:

Did you have anything done to the motor that increases the redline? I noticed a few times you were dipping into the 7k+ category..

Harry Hogge:
Now, Cole, when you shift the gear and that little needle on the tach goes into the red and reads 9000 RPMs, that's bad.

Limiter is set at 6850. Stock is 6600.
Turn 1 to 2 is best held in 3rd gear but heading into turn 3 I am close to red line.
Same with going into turn 1. Shifting into 5th down front straight is a waste but bouncing off 6850 limiter at start finish line is no good. 12.54 with lots of traffic aint to bad.

Sounds fantastic on track!!! Looks like we have similar motor builds. I just switched over from the ported stock intake to ported msd. With the ported stocker on mine it would pull like mad to 6000 and then you could really feel it flatten off up top. With the msd it keeps the strong pull up to 6700 with an average torque gain across the board. I saw a 27 hp gain on back to back pulls with prays stage 1 cam/heads package on e75. Looks like you really enjoy moving along and would probably really enjoy the difference and msd makes

Thanks for posting the video. I love the lope! I have a well warmed over LS2 GTO (LPE GT1-1 cam) and just sold my dry sump LS7 Firebird (big LPE GT21 cam) [Red like yours]. Makes me want to do heads / cam with my 1LE and put the ZL1 1LE aero on. That would be awesome.

What are the cam specs or link to a cam card on it?

Also, on the track event video, your HPDE run group allows very aggressive open passing. Fun to watch - like watching a club race!

Yeah I think about, (ALOT) getting MSD, etc but my buddy in a
300rwhp, if that, 2008 Mustang smokes my badly! Granted he is a semi pro but I have MUCH TO LEARN! He does 1.08 at lightning. With traffic i was able to mustard up 1.12.5. Sure with clean track I might be able to do 11s or high 10's
