Look at it this way, looking through the louvers is like looking through window blinds at your house. It effects visibility a little, but not nearly as much as you think. I mainly use my side mirrors anyways. Hope this helps.

Depending on which company you buy from, they'll look a little different from the inside. I have the AA rear louvers and, exactly as Booher said, like looking through window blinds and hardly affects visibility. The way I normally answer is, "well I couldn't see anything out of it to begin with!"
