He was a little salty and didn't want to tell me if it was more then that lol .
You have guys that don't even know how to race with an Auto lol , they will have the car on drive and just let the computer pick the gear and floor it . If you do that you could be on 3rd and 45 while I'm still in 2nd gear . That right there will cost him big time . My friend is not one of those guys ... he knows to slap it into manual mode hold it in second till he gets to 45 and after flooring it slap it back to Auto and let the computer do all the work. That right there will get you the best results, he also has drag radials so no spinning . If he was completely stock I know he wouldn't have been able to put the power down and the results would have been a lot better for me . Maybe I forgot to put that in my earlier post .

And from what Parish8 said about beating one from a 30 -120 roll .. there are so many factors when racing some random vs racing a friend and knowing what he has .. first thing was the 30 roll lol , auto or stick shift that car is not going anywhere on a 30 roll , he will be spinning and burning those tires like my friend used to do with stock tires . By the time he had any decent traction Parish8 was probably at 120 already lol .
I have mad respect for Parish8 by the way, so nothing against him. Just want to inform the op and other people here that are looking at my set up and probably think I can't drive or something lol . I have never owned an automatic car in all my years of driving ( 16 years ) I'm happy with my results since I know I raced the quickest hellcat ( Auto Charger ) with radials ... now I know I can easily beat a manual or auto charger or challenger with stock tires lol .

Just race him. But honestly if you cant hit 11s you will likely lose unless you had some fantastic trap speed. Keep it friendly and run it.

Ive got video after video of hellcats running high 11's at the track. a new driver in a hellcat is going to be any different. he'll blow the tires off and sit there. So both of you will probably put on a smoke show from a dig. From a roll, if your at 600RWHP or better you should be good. Dodges are heavy and it kind of screws them. Don't under estimate it, but its not what its played out to be.

Haven't had a chance to roll race with a kitty yet but i rolled with my buddies 17 zl1, put a car and a half on him and was still pulling until we both shut down. He then went on to roll with a bone stock auto chally and was about a fender behind. So i'd say I have about a car and a fender on a stock kitty? I layed down 630 on a dynojet, did you get the 600whp whipple was talking about?

I was thinking the same thing.. I have a buddy whos dad bought a 17 auto Hellcat brand new. Traps consistent 125-127mph. I couldn't see how 650WHP 6TH gen couldn't put more then a car length on one......

I haven't seen 11s yet because I dont know how to launch to save my life yet, haven't learned to roll into the pedal... let me punch it in 2nd from a 20-30 roll and man it's a monster. But from a dead stop I'm still learning. He's a stick too with 275s (all season tires at that) so it will be fair when the time comes... have a feeling he'll be spinning longer than me.

Stick hellcats light the tires up even from a roll and go absolutely nowhere. had a 550whp coyote on nitrous put over a bus on one during a visit to mexico... That hellcat was just there so people could make videos of themselves "beating" one haha
