This! It may perform, but it is one goofy looking thing. No thanks, LT2 for me.

To clarify when I said compared to the msd, compared to how the msd lost power to the lt1
like it lost a lot of scoot at 1500rpm, and a decent Amount until it “turned on” at 4000. The car wouldn’t 60ft for sh*t unless you slipped the crap out of the clutch off the rev limiter. I don’t like doing that.
Threw the ported stocker on and the 60fts came right back without clutch smoke.

Some m6 cars get the msd to work well, I tried and couldn’t, a a10 would absolutely love it.

I had the pray ported stocker on there very happily for over a year now, before the LT2...and as you experienced as well, the power stayed the same with the lt2 as the lt1 down low.

To me, for a bolt on car, the lt2 is a no trade off cheap option. It kicks ass. The proof will be in the pudding tomorrow.(only events this weekend, they don’t have test and tune wtf! Gotta wait til next week)
6spdhyperblue was your MSD stock or ported? and did your at least notice a substantial benefit to the ported LT1 over 4k rpm when rolling?

I'm sure the answer is in this thread but is your LT2 IM ported or stock? Interested in your finding.

It’s hard to explain I have the cold air inductions intake and the filter moves with the intake tube and I guess since the lt2 sits so much higher when I just took the tube and shoved it onto the Tb it pushed the filter into the fender lining and I guess blocked off some of the filter. So I loosened all the connections on the intake tube and moved them around so that the filter was in the same position as it was before.

I got you, I have the GM CAI which is essentially the same thing so I can see it happening if the LT2 IM is considerably taller.

I ported the LT2, pray ported my lt1, the msd was not ported just cleaned up.

Yes the msd felt strong up top, it hit its peak at 6k or whatever and really holds the power to 6800..no fall off

Yeah that was me actually....in fact, gonna fatten it up a little bit tomorrow with the previous tune revision I got from Pray Performance. I almost hate to, because this thing pulls SO hard now since putting the LT2 intake on, but the 13.4-13.5 A/F readings are too lean for my taste and I'd much rather have a safer tune in it.

They have closed events this weekend. They ended up texting me late that they added test and tune last night (opposed to the website). I swapped my rears but it was too late. I’m an hour drive from there. Gotta wait til Friday it seems unless they open tnt today or tomorrow

Following you guys lead this mod, so looks like a tune change for the LT2 manifold for A/F? My LE is stock except ported Ktech. Track driving, not 1/4 mile....

lucky. last time i had any of my cars on a mt dr was 2006. i kept saying i'd never put this car on a dr, but i quickly grew tired of this heavy 20" wheel and tire nonsense. drag wheels on a 1LE? blasphemy.

LT2 Intake Manifolds are selling like hotcakes! All the mods done to just bolt on and the MAP extension harness.

I installed on a buddy's car a couple days ago, noticeable power increase and the car just pulls.
