How come you did not go with larger Welds in the back, then you could have kept the stock brakes. Just wondering.

Because I wanted to hook. I wanted the most sidewall I could get. Plus IMO 15s and a fat tire on the back of a late model just looks plain nasty.

The brake kit is very nice 4 piston billet callers drilled and slotted rotors, I'm not an auto cross guy they stop plenty good for me.

If you haven't yet, get axles. Once you can launch hard, they don't survive.....

I'm waiting to hear back from GForce on mine.

I've read about a few breaking with as small as a 150 shot of spray.

They are on the list next.

Oh man, I love the look and love those rotors. I hate how the OEM rotors look. The hats are hideous and impossible to clean. From a detailing standpoint I would nicer rotors.

I broke mine with only the tire and an M6. That should be fixed by the next race day.

How much did all this cost you like everything needed. I've very interested in doing this.

I would get ahold of them for pricing....but after lengthy discussion with them, it's determined that the stock diff "should" be plenty strong. I'm only doing axles and the 3.5" driveshaft since I don't plan on much more then 700ish rwhp. I also refuse to cage/roll bar my car. So I'm pretty limited on how quick I can consistently go at the track.

Yeah call and talk to mark Carlyle he has the best deal on welds for sure.

I don't plan to put down more than 6-700hp either. 10.50s I'm happy with this is a daily driver. I'm weighing the axle options dss or g force. G force are lifetime warranty.

I have a gto I'm building with a g force 9", mini rubbed, 8.50 cert cage etc to go really fast in
