Center Cap for Factory Reproduction Wheels
Just bought Factory Reproduction FR27F Z28 replica wheels that came with plain black center caps. I was hoping to use my old OEM caps (black with silver bowtie) from my 2013 2SS HWSE part number 9594156, but they don't fit. Outside face is perfect, but they don't click in and stay. I was thinking maybe the Hot Wheels 21" rims had a funky center cap size, so...
I ordered a set of OEM GM caps part 22791586, but same issue. It's obvious that the flexible "teeth" inside clip ring diameter is bigger on the aftermarket cap than the OEM. Does anybody know what OEM GM caps will fit the Factory Reproduction wheel center cap hole??? |

I don't know if it's the same with Factory Reproduction wheels, but my MRR 017's (6th gen 1LE reproductions) use the 6th gen OEM center caps. It may be the same for your wheels.
