Stock ZL1: Will 20x10 ET 20 or ET 23 SQUARE Set Work?

Hoping for help. Searched lots of posts but too many are confusing because they quickly get hi-jacked with Non-Square comments.

I want to run DD All-Season tires, with a bolt-on square set for my ZL1. Could care less about track considerations or rear hook-up. I think I could get OEM wheels in ET20 or MRRs in ET23.

I just want to look good in my convertible cruising, for 3 seasons, and get 40K+ out of a set of 285 tires.

Has anyone run either of these?

I believe the fronts will also work on the rear. You'll stick out about 3/8" further toward the fender, and gain a ton of clearance on the inside (1-3/8"), but I think it should work. I'm sure someone has tried it and can confirm, though. It should work strictly by the offset calcs though. Meaning, 20x10 et20 on all corners.

you can put in whatever you are planning into the calculator and it will give you a pretty good estimate of what you'll end up with (relative to what you entered for your stock fitment). i.e 3/8" closer to suspension components, or 3/4" more poke from fender.

it's helped me a lot on various vehicles.

ET35 probably would be better. Edit: after spending with them a day - I like it might look better than stock...

Anybody know if 295/30/20 fits on 20x10 square set up (ET23)?

I know you said it's not for a track setup but read this. There are square setup for different sized rims on different sized tires.

Thanks. I've seen that. They're pushing 19" rims for lighter weight and performance on the track, and 11" wide rims for wide tires.

My 2023 ZL1 Convertible is a 'forever' car. My goal is 20" diameter (lots of options), and 10" wide rims (285 or 295 tires for better MPG and many A/S options).

I've had two Vipers, and I got rid of the last one, in part, because collectors will have a hard time finding 345/19 rear tires in a few years (as tire mfgs. focus more on electric cars, and those don't feature wide rubber due to their priority for lower rolling resistance). ...So I believe we're all going to be facing more limited rubber options for collector performance cars in the future.
