Help need it about suspension upgrade!
Hi guys. Im trying make my 1ss ready for autox. Should I swap my stock suspension for GM 1le kit and sway bars or jump to some aftermarket coilovers plus BMR susp parts like adjustable swaybars links and control arm bearings itd??? Please help!!!

What's your experience level? If you're beginning, leave it stock.

I started this year so Im still beginner but I feel like I have to much body roll and understeer. I got to do something with it.

Swaybars first and a square tire setup. Once you feel you've reached the limits there, then you can look further. Both of those changes can be done without much labor.

Swaybars would be an great improvement for sure. I would take a look at the Hotchkis set up. We run it on our track cars and it helps a lot.
Once you become more aggressive on the track I would look at upgrading the coilovers. Always good to take it one step at a time. Let us know if you have any questions about the Hotchkis kit! Cheers, Kayla L. 801.545.4215 |
